**About Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital**:

The two hospital sites are located in the charming and historic Perth and Smiths Falls region, within close proximity to urban centers such as Kingston, Brockville and Ottawa. The hospital is situated on Algonquin Territory in the heart of the Rideau Canal region and proudly provides health services to more than 75,000 people in the surrounding communities. **About The Opportunity**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor of Nursing Science degree. You will be in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current knowledge of Clinical Nursing Practice and College of Nurses Standards of Practice as well as completion of a Nursing Leadership/Management Program.
- Specialty certification, and/or knowledge and experience in Obstetrics
- Minimum 3 years management/supervisor experience in unionized department preferred
- Supports the Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy and participates in quality improvement, risk management and patient safety activities departmentally and organization wide.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and leadership abilities in the development and implementation of programs and services.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, decision making and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to establish effective relationships with patients, families, staff members and interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience in preparing and managing budgets.
