Reporting to the Store Manager, the Full-Time Key Holder’s main goal is to provide outstanding service to all customers in selecting the right product to meet their needs, as well as to provide support on maintaining the company guidelines for visual display standards and stock management in order to maximize sales opportunities.
Customer Service and Sales
- Ensure that customers are the top priority
- Provide superior customer service
- Help customers make selections by building customer confidence; offering suggestions and opinions
- Be alert and respond to customers’ needs and their buying signals
- Be aware of store daily and weekly budgets and promotions, and actively seek sales to achieve these
- Develop knowledge of the MUJI product range and sales techniques required to sell them
Store Merchandising/ Product Handling
- Develop high standards of merchandise presentation and stock handling as per MUJI guidelines
- Ensure that shop floor and staff areas housekeeping and presentation are exemplary
Systems
- Make efficient and effective use of all store equipment and systems, including the POS (point of sale) system
- Assist where directed, with all forms of stock control, including twice-yearly inventories, pricing, sales preparation
Security
- Opening and closing store procedures, including cash counting and safekeeping of store keys
- Aid management team with general security of stock
- Adhere to company’s security procedures
Health & Safety
- Be aware of and adhere to MUJI’s health and safety guidelines
- Adhere to proper manual handling techniques
**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
