We are growing again Freightcom is looking for highly motivated Bilingual Content Writer to elevate our marketing efforts to help Canadian businesses. Founded in 2010, Freightcom started with a simple vision: to create a solution that centralizes & simplifies the shipping process for small-and-medium-sized Canadian businesses without compromising on speed, convenience, and cost-effectiveness.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create content strategies for the organization or specific products/services within the organization.
- Work in collaboration with other content creators and digital marketing members.
- Follow all SEO practices while producing content.
- Rewrite old content from the website to give it a fresh touch.
- Write technical content for software releases, new features and other advancements.
- Proofread content written by other content creators and other members of the team and organization.
- Overseeing the sharing of content across various departments mainly social media.
- Perform precise keyword research and topic-based research.
- Stay up to date with various methods to create engaging and attractive content.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
- 2+ years of social media and blog content creation experience
- Professional experience working as a Content Developer or Content Creator, or a similar position.
- A portfolio of publications.
- Familiarity with working with Content Management systems.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Working experience in Copywriting or Graphic Designing would be an asset.
- Good knowledge of SEO Principles.
- Ability to work in teams as well as independently as and when required.
- Phenomenal research skills.
- Amazing written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and set priorities.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Outstanding presentation skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French are vital.

**In-house Position (must be willing to travel to Bolton, Ontario)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
