We're growing and are seeking an experienced Principal Mining Consultant to join our Underground team in Perth.

**About Our Team**:
Our Australian underground team comprises over a dozen mining professionals, including industry-renowned technical experts. We closely collaborate with our Geology, Open Pit, Define (Corporate Advisory), and Operations teams, as well as our global network of mining professionals, to deliver premium services and innovative solutions to complex technical challenges.
**About the Role**:
Every day brings new challenges as you manage projects across various commodities, geographies, and clients—from emerging miners to major industry players. As a Principal Consultant, you'll deliver top-tier consulting services, collaborate with international experts, and lead teams to ensure projects are executed with excellence, within budget, and on schedule.
**Responsibilities Include**:
Provide expert technical advice and oversight
Conduct mining studies (Scoping, Pre-feasibility & Feasibility)
Author and peer-review technical reports
Mentor staff and oversee project contractors
Drive business improvements and support business development activities
Prepare proposals and contracts
Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, working with professionals to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
**About You**:
Minimum 15+ years of experience in the mining industry
Proficiency in Mine Planning software (Deswik preferred)
Experience in managing technical projects and stakeholders to deliver projects
Proven track record in client relationship building and networking
Ability to work independently or within teams
Strong financial management skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Consulting experience is highly regarded
