Insulator - Apprentice

Bilton Welding and Manufacturing Ltd., in Innisfail, AB is looking for **Insulator **to join our team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements and select the type of insulation needed. Assign staff to specific tasks to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Inspect products during and after work is completed to ensure products are being built to Bilton standards.
- Measuring and cutting insulating material to required dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Reinforce policies to ensure standards are being met and that safe working habits are enforced.
- Actively participate as part of the pipefitting team
- Fit insulation around obstructions, between studs, or shape insulation materials and protective coverings
- Other duties, as advised by direct supervisor.

**Qualification/Requirements**:

- 1-2 years’ previous experience in an Apprentice Insulator role.
- Registered with the Alberta Apprenticeship board.
- An aptitude to be mechanically inclined
- Attention to detail
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment and meet deadlines
