The Technical Animator will report to the Technical Art Director

This is a temporary contract role

**Responsibilities**:
You will:

- Lead communication efforts related to assigned features - Examples include runtime systems, physics/ragdoll, and facial animation R&D and implementation
- Ramp up on existing animation systems, tools, and pipelines to provide support and debugging
- Support and debug procedural animation systems such as facial animation, destruction, cloth, and hair
- Collaborate with design, character art, animation and outsourcing teams, with an eye toward overall character fidelity.

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years of technical animation experience
- Experience in rigging and skinning assets
- Proficient with standard industry tools such as Autodesk Maya
- Experience identifying issues and resolving them quickly while exercising your decision-making capabilities
- Experience testing your own work and reviewing with attention to detail
- Experience in collaborating with multiple groups across departments
- Dependable and demonstrates commitment to tasks and the project
- An understanding of animation principles and anatomy
