Job Summary

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform quantities takeoffs
- Perform detailed estimates from all tender documents.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Review and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to achieve the best value for the project
- Create comprehensive proposals for clients that outline the scope of work, timeline, and pricing
- Track project costs and make adjustments as needed throughout the construction process
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and cost control

**Skills**:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- 1-3 years experience in the shoring/foundation industry
- Strong knowledge of shoring construction estimating principles and techniques
- Excellent analytical and mathematical abilities
- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from subcontractors and suppliers
- Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accurate cost estimates
- Project management skills to track costs and meet deadlines
