**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently plan and coordinate the dispatch of our truck fleet to optimize routes, schedules, and delivery times.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, ensuring they are aware of their assignments, routes, and any changes to their schedules.
- Monitor real-time GPS tracking and traffic updates to make informed decisions and adjustments to routes as needed.
- Maintain constant communication with clients and provide updates on delivery status, delays, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to schedule and plan routine vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Resolve any issues or emergencies that arise during transportation, such as breakdowns, accidents, or delays, while keeping stakeholders informed.
- Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and relevant documentation.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a truck dispatcher or in a similar logistics role is preferred (2 years or more)
- Strong geographical knowledge of surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards in Canada.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
