The Assistant Chief Pilot, E195-E2 - Regulation & Standards, will work closely with the Chief Pilot in executing the regulatory responsibilities of the Chief Pilot’s role as defined in the Commercial Air Services Standard and the Porter E195-E2 Flight Operations Manual.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Actively participate in future regulatory changes, and ensure Porter Airlines is compliant with present national and foreign regulations;Assist the Chief Pilot in developing and/or implementing all required approved training programs for Porter Airlines (Canada) Ltd. Pilots;Assist the Chief Pilot in developing, and amending as necessary, the E2 Standard Operating Procedures;Assist the Chief Pilot in the actioning and distribution of accident, incident, and other occurrence reports;Assist the Chief Pilot in processing and actioning of any flight crew reports;Issuing directives and notices to flight crews as required;Maintain an active management flying block;Participate in the pilot training and ACP program, when qualified to do so;Actively participate in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including: reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understanding, complying and promoting the Company Safety Policy; and, other safety duties as assigned by the Operations Manager;Assume any responsibilities delegated by the Chief Pilot or Operations Manager.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
ATPL with Pilot in Command (PIC) experience on multi-engine jet airplanes;Thorough understanding of the Canadian Aviation Regulations, Standards and other Transport Canada publications necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the position;Demonstrate knowledge with respect to the content of the Flight Operations Manual, Training Control Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and Approved Check Pilot Manual;Thorough understanding of Porter policies and procedures;Flight operations supervisory or management experience an asset; andEmbodies and exhibits the Porter values in everyday work.Mandatory COVID-19 vaccination
