**Position**: QC Technician
**Schedule**: Part Time, Backup

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring products meet a company’s production standards. Their duties include monitoring manufacturing operations, testing products for flaws, and reporting defects. He/she reports to the QA Technician on duty.

**Summ Responsibilities**:

- Perform critical control point checks and quality checks on process as outlined in the HACCP and Quality Program requirements.
- Provide required support to and work directly with QA and Operations team members with objectives of meeting food safety and quality requirements while maintaining efficiency.
- Identifies non-conformances, record and inform appropriate departmental supervisors in a timely manner.
- Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Monitors in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings.
- Perform other duties as directed by QA Manager.

**Summ Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
- Good knowledge of quality control and documentation, as well as adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Able to effectively communicate (verbal and in writing).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and a great team player.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work flexible hours, work alone or with mínimal supervision.
- Readily accepts instruction from management/supervisors and execute effectively.
- Skill in prioritization, accuracy and strong attention to details.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.15 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
