**Roles and Responsibilities**

General Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of warehouses
- Organize warehouse with dedicated areas for each type of seed
- Manage and plan the storage of inventory
- Receive and ship product safely and in a timely manner
- Report and communicate between processing, production and operations departments
- Responsible for confirming the correct seed is shipped and received
- Pick loads from the Logistics Operations Planner pick lists for corn, soybean or any cereal orders
- Load all trucks for deliveries
- Document and immediately report any damaged or unacceptable seed for return or sale
- To present packaged product to perfection before loading
- Clean totes
- Proper, well displayed placards
- Good pallets
- Properly shrink wrapped

**Yearly Timeline**

September - October
- Work Hours: Monday
- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
- Ship out cover crop seed
- Provide customer service to load product as required
- Transfer empty Qbits back to the processing warehouse
- Receive shelled corn boxes for short term storage
- Monitor warehouse for insect or rodent presence
- Assist Harvest Crew with any tasks needed

November - February
- Work Hours: Monday
- Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm; Friday 7:00am-12:00pm
- Transfer shelled corn Qbits back to the processing warehouse for conditioning
- Receive wholesale packaged seed for short term storage and shipping
- Load trucks with seed to be shipped out

March - June
- Work Hours: Monday
- Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
- Pick loads for delivery as requested by Logistics Operations Planner
- Load those deliveries onto trucks
- Provide customer service to farmers picking up seed
- Receive all returns, document and put back on the warehouse floor with other seed of the same hybrid
- Provide assistance with carryover corn and soybean probing

July - August
- Work Hours: Monday
- Thursday 7:00am-4:30pm; Friday 7:00am-12:00pm
- Transfer corn seed to processing warehouse that may require processing during the summer
- Transfer hybrids which are the same pedigree that needs rebagging or blending
- Organize and move carryover cover crop seed to the front of the warehouse
- Ship cover crop seed
- Record both bean and corn inventory, reconcile with Logistics Operations Planner, store carryover seed neatly for long term storage
- Create as much room as possible in preparation for harvest storage
- Monitor warehouse for insect and rodent presence

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Courtland, ON N0J 1E0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
