The Ballpark plumber plays a critical role in ensuring the proper function of plumbing systems and fixtures within the stadium. Your responsibilities revolve around maintaining, repairing, and installing plumbing infrastructure to provide clean water supply and efficient drainage throughout the facility.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Conduct regular inspections of the ballpark plumbing systems to identify potential issues including pipes, fixtures, and faucets.
- Address plumbing problems such as leaks, clogs, and faulty fixtures as promptly as possible to prevent disruptions during events.
- Repair or replace damaged or worn-out plumbing components to maintain optimal performance.
- Maintain and clean drainage systems, including stormwater drains, gutters, and downspouts, to prevent flooding and water accumulation.
- Address sewage system issues and ensure proper disposal of wastewater to prevent environmental hazards.
- Install and maintain plumbing fixtures, such as sinks, toilets, urinals, water fountains, and water dispensers.
- Ensure that all fixtures are in good working condition, properly sealed, and free from leaks.
- Be prepared to respond to plumbing emergencies, such as burst pipes or sewage backups, during events or regular operations.
- Take quick and appropriate action to mitigate damages and restore normal plumbing functionality.
- Maintain an inventory of plumbing supplies, tools, and spare parts needed for repairs and installations.
- Replenish supplies as needed to ensure the availability of necessary resources.

They play a significant role in ensuring that essential amenities, such as restrooms and concession stands, function properly, contributing to the overall positive experience of those attending events at the ballpark._
**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be available to work home games (evenings, weekends, and holidays) and other Rogers Centre concerts/events as required._
- Valid plumber license - 306A.
- Thorough knowledge of general maintenance procedures, and complete familiarity with current industry standards.
- Versatile skills required to operate and repair a variety of building equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Good mechanical, analytical, research and problem-solving skills.
- Self-starter with practical judgment and a decisive manner.
- Knowledge of computer and related programs: Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to operate Lift Truck, Scissor-Lift, Boom-Lift and Propane Handling. Training is to be provided if necessary.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs (23 kg.)
- Working knowledge of employee responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work overtime and respond to emergencies.
- Legally able to work in Canada.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.55-$100.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
Schedule:
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON M5V 1J1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
