CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing of engineered heavy duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 Compliant) for the CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem and power-generating industry since 1957.

CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill the role of** **Assembler Fitter**.

**Purpose**

The **Assembler Fitter **assembles pumps of engineered rotating equipment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Support the Manager or their designate as part of production control operations
- Take instruction from the Assembly & Welding Manager / Production Manager, or their designate, for the assembly of rotating equipment scheduled for jobs, service or repair
- Multi-task on assembly of different product lines
- Assemble basic pump assemblies under supervision while safely using all tools/equipment required and appropriately for the assembly process
- Safely rig, lift, and manipulate loads with relevant lifting devices after training
- Able to learn and retain all instruction and teachings during the training provided by management

**To succeed, you will need**

**Qualification Requirements**
- General knowledge of the assembly process
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand and power tools
- Able to diagnose and troubleshoot issues during assembly
- Read and understand drawings and assembly layouts
- Good Communication skills

**Education and/or Experience**
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Recommended minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience as an Assembler Fitter, Industrial Mechanic, or equivalent experience.

**Physical Demands**
- Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortably able to perform repetitive motions using finger, wrist, and shoulders
- Ability to remain standing for the duration of your shift

**Work Environment**
- Work environment involves working in shop setting
- Ability to work in a high noise area
- Ability to work around overhead cranes, forklifts, machines, and equipment
- Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots
- Must be aware of and comply with all relevant safety policy and procedures
