Shop Labourer

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the **Shop Labourer** is responsible for providing assistance to all areas of the shop. This includes shipping/receiving, product delivery and pick up, material handling, working with machinery and power tools, preventative maintenance, and general clean-up.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Support, provide assistance and help coordinate work efforts/initiatives throughout the scope of all shop logistic responsibilities
- Operate various machines and power tools, including grinders, chipping and de-burring equipment
- Operate measuring instruments - tape measure
- Transport materials, finished products and equipment throughout shop manually or using powered equipment
- Receive and follow directions from other personnel regarding shop processes
- Operate forklift and overhead crane as necessary
- Keep work area(s) organized and clean

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Capable of completing assigned tasks from written or verbal instruction
- Forklift experience is a requirement, ability to move materials
- Valid Driver’s License
