We are a well-established Civil Enforcement Agency in Western Canada
Bailiff’s work on a contract basis for Civil Enforcement Agencies to help recover debt on behalf of landlords and secured creditors. Work hours are not set and will require evening and weekend work. There would be both document and on-the-job training required prior to obtaining the position. The process of training is a month-long process. Contractor pay varies, this will be explained to applicants during interview process. This position will work in the Regina area.
The applicant must have an enthusiastic common-sense approach to their bailiff work, while being professional and firm in his/her duties including:
- Completing all types of Civil enforcement files in a timely matter.
- Managing your own schedule, working independently on duties and assigned files
- Developing cooperative working relationship with office staff, vendors, municipal governments, police agencies, and so on
- Using effective listening, negotiating and clear verbal communication to help get files completed
- Writing clear and concise bailiff reports
- Presenting a professional image to creditor, debtors, and general public
- Preserving confidentiality in carrying out the work
The individual must have:
- No criminal record, Police background check will be required
- Have your own vehicle and hold a valid driver’s license
- Complete and pass an approved conflict management course (this can be completed during the training period)
- Be able to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings when required
- Basic computer skills
