Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care and support. This position involves working in various settings such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and private residences.

**Duties**:

- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and organizing
- Help with meal preparation and feeding if necessary
- Monitor and document changes in clients' health status
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting if required
- Offer specialized care for individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of disability care practices and techniques
- Knowledge of senior care practices and techniques
- Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy and patience
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and client needs

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $17.43-$25.46 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

**Experience**:

- Acute care: 1 year (required)
