Hope you are a friendly, enthusiastic, and patient tutor who has strong communication skills to students K-12 and wants to work in a rewarding teaching environment to provide individual support to students looking to improve their academic skills. Vulnerable sector screening is required.

**Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
- Fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
- Good knowledge of Ontario Curriculum(K-12)
- Teaching certification is an asset

**Experience**:

- 1year+ experience teaching/tutoring at K-12
- Strong English written and oral communication skills and ability to guide students' understanding
- Ability to multitask and balance working with up to three students at a time
- Experience teaching Test Preparation courses (IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge), University Pathways courses and/or Business courses

**Responsibilities**
- Tutoring up to 3 students at a time at different levels(in-person)
- Teach and provide tutoring assistance using lessons, discussions, presentations
- Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
- Prepare, administer and mark tests and papers to evaluate students' progress
- Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
- Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
- Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery

**Technology skills required**:

- MS Office(Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

**Other Requirements**:
Can carry a weight of 20kg(Robotics Material)

$18-$40/hour

Weekdays: 4-8pm, Saturdays: 9am - 5 pm
