As a Treasury Analyst at our mid-size real estate development company, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial activities related to treasury operations. You will be responsible for monitoring cash flow, optimizing liquidity management, and providing insightful analysis to support strategic decision-making.

This on-site position reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and works closely with various departments within the organization.

**Responsibilities**:

- Cash Management: Monitor daily cash positions, forecast cash flow, and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. Implement strategies to optimize cash management, including short-term investments, banking relationships, and credit facilities.
- Cash Flow Analysis: Analyze cash flow patterns, identify trends, and provide accurate cash flow forecasts. Collaborate with other departments, such as accounting and finance, to gather relevant information for cash flow analysis.
- Banking Relationships: Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions. Evaluate banking services and negotiate favorable terms, fees, and rates. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to treasury management.
- Debt Management: Assist in the management of the company's debt portfolio, including tracking loan covenants, coordinating debt payments, and maintaining accurate records. Collaborate with the finance team to optimize debt structures and financing options.
- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate financial risks associated with treasury activities. Monitor interest rate risk, foreign exchange exposure, and market volatility. Recommend risk management strategies and implement appropriate hedging instruments, when necessary.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular treasury reports, including cash flow analysis, liquidity forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and accounting standards related to treasury operations. Stay updated on regulatory changes and assess their impact on treasury activities. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to treasury functions.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within treasury operations. Streamline workflows, implement automation tools, and enhance reporting capabilities to increase efficiency and accuracy.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Treasury Professional) is a plus.
- Proven experience in treasury operations, preferably within the real estate development industry or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and forecasting techniques.
- Knowledge of treasury management systems and banking platforms.
- Familiarity with debt management and financing options.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information.
