The Peel District School Board (PDSB) is a racially, culturally, and linguistically diverse board that serves 155,000+ students and approximately 17,000 employees. We currently have an opportunity for two (2) Testers - SIS Modernization (contract positions until August 31, 2024)

Reporting to the Manager, SIS Modernization, the successful applicant will work with Team Lead - Testing, to play an important role in quality analysis and testing for the new Student Information System adopted by the Peel Board.

**Key responsibilities include**:
Understand test requirements, deriving test cases from use cases and writing effective test plans, cases, scripts, for the given solution.

Execute test cases as part of functional and regression testing.

Attend Requirement & design walkthrough calls with BAs/Developers

Help drive toward Continuous Integration and Continuous Improvement

Report/track defects through Quality Center and maintain defect report.

Design, develop, document, and maintain test assets

Creating test data

Business requirements analysis and business process analysis

Using problem tracking tools

Using SQL to query data

**Qualifications**:
University degree or College diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Three or more years of test creation and execution using standard templates and creating new metrics reporting as required

Experience in data conversion testing

Experience in the use of requirements traceability tools and processes

Client facing, written and oral skills are essential.

Experience with testing tools to support testing (quality control) activities

Good Experience on Oracle Forms Testing (Oracle Advanced Benefits (OAB))
