**Individual Accountabilities**:

- Responsible for executing technical and business projects across multiple stakeholders; developing analysis to support process and project improvements
- Manages and coordinates business and technical projects through all phases of initiation, development and implementation using SDLC methodology
- Works with clients to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements, and implementation of projects
- Ensures that assigned projects are completed within budgets and schedules while meeting client business objectives
- Identifies, analyzes, mitigates, documents, and controls project risks
- Provides effective and regular communication within the project team, stakeholders, sponsors, and management
- Identifies resource needs for the project and establishes roles, expectations, and goals with team members
- Drives the assessment and management and mitigation of project risks that impede successful project delivery
- Reports on and manages project resource tracking and budgets for project area
- Understands nature of impact and creates lessons learned for future delivery
- Strong contributor able to enable others within immediate team
- Develop and maintain all project documentation (Project Plan, Issue and Action Logs, Risk Management, Communication Plan, Status Reports, Post Implementation Reviews, etc.).
- Identify benefits expected from initiatives and conduct post implementation reviews to report on and track results.
- Pull together resources effectively to implement projects. Orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish objectives.
- Use critical thinking skills to anticipate and manage potential risks that will arise. Communicate these to the stakeholders on a regular basis and ensure decisions are made quickly and effectively.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Over 5 years progressive experience in project management, preferably in projects associated within the Legal, Compliance and Government Relations domain
- Have expertise in managing both waterfall and Agile/Scrum project methodologies; PMP or CSM designation would be an asset
- Experience with both SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.) a plus.
- Sound foundational knowledge of IT infrastructure and architecture.
- Strong project financial forecasting and cost management
- Vendor management experience would be an assets
- Experience in defining and completing fit / gap analysis of technology solutions
- Understanding of IS Risk review processes and controls for technology implementations
- Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical terms.
- Has experience overseeing programmers, database admins, system engineers and architects, server admins, security admins, network engineers, vendor SME's, functional business managers
- Demonstrates skill, and strong interpersonal skills for the role across the project
- Strong working knowledge and experience of area of practice
- Use knowledge of the discipline and the market to suggest alternate approach options to leadership based on current project obstacles and objectives
- Links actions to clear outcomes
- Working knowledge of the business needs related to the project with some industry awareness of key trends
- Constantly learns from both success and failure
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion
- Good verbal and written communication; able to effectively articulate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes to technical and non-technical audience
