''**3D Modeler and CNC Programmer**

Performance Solutions is looking for a talented and experienced 3D modeler and CNC programmer to join our team for a 3-month contract. You will be responsible for editing 3D models for various projects, such as sculptures, furniture, signage, and art installations, using software like ZBrush, Blender, Aspire, VCarve, SketchUp, and Meshmixer. You will also be responsible for programming and operating CNC machines to produce the 3D models in physical form.

**Responsibilities**:

- Modify 3D models of objects according to the project specifications and requirements
- Export and optimize the 3D models for CNC machining, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and feasibility of the designs
- Program and operate CNC machines to cut, carve, and shape the 3D models from various materials, such as wood, metal, plastic, or foam
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or errors that may arise during the 3D modeling or CNC machining process
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other artists, designers, engineers, and clients
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results

**Qualifications**:

- A strong portfolio of 3D modeling and CNC machining work, demonstrating creativity, originality, and technical proficiency
- Proficiency in ZBrush, Blender, Aspire, VCarve, SketchUp, and Meshmixer, as well as other relevant CAD software
- Knowledge of 3D modeling principles, techniques, and best practices, such as topology, UV mapping, texturing, shading, and rendering
- Knowledge of CNC programming and machining principles, techniques, and best practices, such as G-code, toolpaths, feeds, and speeds
- Ability to work with different styles, genres, and levels of detail, depending on the project requirements and specifications
- Ability to work with different materials, tools, and machines, ensuring the safety and quality of the production
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- A degree or diploma in 3D modeling, animation, graphic design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months

**Salary**: $18.68-$37.09 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- machinist: 1 year (preferred)
