The QC Coordinator/Inspector is responsible for ensuring compliance of AMS Rental product through dimensional, visual and other inspection methods and ensuring proper documentation is maintained, supplied or created as required.

**Key position functions include**:

- Conduct dimensional inspection on products
- Complete all reporting and documentation as required
- Advise on and assist in creation of NCIR’s for rental equipment.
- Perform hardness testing as required
- Review and approve equipment for final repair inspection
- Advise Engineering/Production of any missing requirements or issues with repairs (missing specifications, inaccurate descriptions, etc.)
- Correct equipment deficiencies within allowable tolerance using Pneumatic and hand tooling.
- Organize farm out scheduling, coordinate shipping and receiving of rental equipment throughout the farm out processes.
- Organize and directly support farm out inventory management.
- Advise Supervisor / Manager of any non-conformance throughout farm out process.
- Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor
- High School Diploma
- Machine Shop Inspection training / experience required (minimum 1 year) - dimensional inspection, hardness testing, understanding of technical drawings
- Understanding of basic trigonometry
- Experience with wellhead and valve equipment an asset
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of ERP software such as SAP an asset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to maintain deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
