Health Care Assistant

**HCA Job Posting**

Alexander First Nation Health Services, a Cree First Nation community, is currently recruiting a Health Care Aid (HCA) to join our Kipohtakawkamik Supportive Living team. Alexander is located 10 km west of Morinville, Alberta. Kipohtakawkamik Supportive Living is a 17 bed facility that works in collaboration with Alberta Health Services and FNIB to provide safe culturally sensitive care for First Nation and Metis Elder’s from communities across Alberta.

**Qualifications and requirements**:

- Must be a graduate from an accredited HCA program with an HCA certificate
- Must registered with the HCA Directory
- Must have a current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Must have a Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector check.

**Responsibilities includes**:
1. HCA under the direction of the Resident Care Supervisor and LPN, assists in carrying out the care plans of the resident.

2. Providing direct personal care to residents, such as bathing, AM/PM/HS care, feed assist and other duties within their scope of practice.

**Job Types**: Casual

**Salary**:$21.86 to $26.03 per hour

**Schedule**:

- 8 and/or 12-hour shifts
