**Metal Fabrication/Highway Trailer Body Repair Person**

**Fleetworx Inc.** is seeking a **Highway Trailer Body Repair Person **for an immediate opening.

Please note**:*Red Seal certification is **not** required, however experience is a must.

**Full-time hours**

**$18.00 to $22.00 per hour**

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication / Highway Trailer Body Repair Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for working on semi-trailers, reefer trailers, dry van trailers with some truck work. The majority of the work is fabrication, involving some welding, riveting, kemlite repair and suspension work.

**Duties**:

- Inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose equipment malfunctions
- Prepare, fabricate and weld various metal constructions
- Dismantle and repair trailer structures is the main focus of the job
- Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Perform detailed quality checks to ensure completed work meets all standards and requirements
- Keep accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and parts inventory

**Skills**:

- Mechanically inclined and basic knowledge of hand tools, with preference given to those with related experience
- Willingness to take on new challenges and grow with experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills to manage repair tasks efficiently
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide clear instructions

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
