**About The Role**

Repor-ng to the Health Manager, Homemaker works with the other members of the Home to
provide care to elders, disabled and other so they con-nue to live in their home. The care
includes ac-vi-es iden-fied as a result of client assessment that will help meet the needs of the
client. This may include personal care, providing meals, cleaning and other housekeeping
func-ons and performs other du-es as directed by the supervisor. The Homemaker will ensure
all services are provided in a caring and respecYul way in keeping with rela-ve policies and
procedures and Stz’uminus First Na-on Home Care Standards.

**Qualifica:ons**
- Minimum of Grade 12 educa-on
- Formal training and/or educa-on in Janitorial and / or cooking an asset
- WHMIS cer-ficate
- Must have driver’s license
- Residence in the Stz’uminus First Na-on community and knowledge of local culture and

language preferred**.**

The Pay Range is the minimum (Step 1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based
