- ** Seasonal - Part Time Hours (Weekends Primarily)**

This position is responsible for monitoring the safety and security of all guests, staff and property of the resort during special events located throughout the resort property. The Security Attendant will participate in checking identification, counting guests entering/leaving the event, checking bags entering the designated event.

**WHAT WILL I BE DOING?**
- Providing a security presence in conference areas and food establishments during special events that do not include alcohol service. Responsibilities will be included but are not limited to Security presence at entrances/exits and other key access areas, checking identification, and keeping accurate numbers of guests entering and exiting the event.
- Patrols hotel hallways to monitor guest behaviours. Reports concerns to licensed Agents for follow up.
- When monitoring, will observe, write reports, and relay concerns to the Security Agents/Supervisors for further action and response.
- Provides First Aid/CPR/AED when required.
- Documents all incidents in the security log.

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Courses in Police Foundations preferred.
- Aspiring to obtain Ontario Security Guard License
- Must be 18 years of age
- Previous Security, Police and/or military experience a definite asset
- Successful completion of First Aid/CPR/AED training an asset
- Ability to services our guest and build positive relationships with colleagues and business partners working at Blue
