**Knowledge & Skills**

Preferably with 2-3 years’ office experience. Knowledge of the meat processing industry would be an asset. Ability to learn new tasks and take accountability effectively is essential.

**Accountabilities (include but not limited to)**
- Completion of government export documentation. Ensuring all documents are processed by cut off dates &/or scheduled deadlines.
- Completion of airway bills and bill of lading for purpose of outgoing shipments.
- Provide instructions to truck drivers.
- Answering of all incoming phone calls, transferring calls to correct department/individual, taking messages as required. Taking customer orders via phone as necessary.
- Handle walk-in traffic, accept orders, provide invoicing and accept payments.
- Distribute incoming faxes to the correct department &/or individual. Ensure that copies of all incoming orders are made and provided to all necessary parties.
- Input information and prepare shipping labels for various courier providers as requested.
- Tracking of office supply inventory and ordering supplies as needed or requested.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Requirements**
- Computer knowledge and ability to work with Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat to create written documents/letters of response, spreadsheets, reports, etc.
- Must have exceptional organizational skills, be able to handle a variety of tasks simultaneously. Ability to establish priorities in their work area.
- Must be able to perform under pressure and adhere to deadlines.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal & written).
- Detailed oriented, analytical thinker.
- Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work with diverse group of individuals including upper management, ability to develop positive working relationships.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule. Early starts and overtime are required in this position.
- Must have reliable transportation.

**Working Conditions**

Fast paced environment with continuous interruptions, distractions and varying levels of noise. May have exposure to packaged raw meat products, sight & smell of blood.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $23.00 per hour
