We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and team-oriented **Home Healthcare Customer Service Representative** to join our **Yurek Pharmacy & Home Healthcare** team in St. Thomas, Ontario.

**Job Summary**:
Reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, The HHC CSRs interact with customers and use their best judgment to provide any level of service that is required to ensure their total satisfaction. They are our frontline resources to our customers to greet them, provide information about our products and services and help them find the specific products and services that meet their needs. Duties include answering calls, greeting & servicing customers, promotion of Yurek Home Healthcare at outside events, and general housekeeping duties.

‏‏‎**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with all department and staff regarding requests from our customers.
- Acknowledges, greets, and assists customers in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Uses tact and courtesy when dealing with difficult customers and refers customers to management if a problem cannot be resolved.
- Handle telephone enquiries quickly and courteously, and call customers as required.
- Maintains the confidentiality of all records as laid out in store operating policies and procedures particularly as they pertain to access, security, and retention.
- Provides compression and other fittings including stockings, braces and custom.
- Follows Store Procedures on store security.
- Responsible for accurate data entry into Finestra daily and ensuring that paperwork is accurate.
- Accurately records and handles cash transaction with a minimum of voids and errors.
- Keeps a good state of housekeeping and maintains the files within the department so that information can be quickly retrieved.
- Develops and utilizes selling techniques and closing companion sales.
- Assist customers with products outside the department and is knowledgeable of all in store promotions. Keeps other staff aware of promotions.
- Suggests methods and systems for measuring and improving the department’s service levels.
- Learns and utilizes proper merchandising techniques including product placement, stock rotation, stocking shelves and facing. Maintains specific sections as allocated.
- Carries out housekeeping duties and makes sure the store is clean, neat, and professional looking.
- Generating purchase orders form POS, checking for accuracy, sending to suppliers.
- Performing cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Completion of ACT and MIS documentation as well as third party billing (e.g. (NIHB) Non-Insured Health Benefits). Develops an industry awareness including competitor activities, display techniques and product lines not stocked.
- Complies with all Health and Safety policies and procedures; behaves in a proactive manner to resolve Health & Safety issues or concerns.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of High School diploma
- Some cashier or retail experience is preferred.
- Mature, well organized, and cooperative attitude.
- Neat and well-groomed image.
- Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with customers and co-workers.
- Develop an understanding of Finestra POS system.

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
