**SITE SUPERINTENDENT**

Aveiro Constructors Ltd. is a General Contractor specializing in all facets of ICI construction. Our mission is to utilize our collective expertise of committed and creative professionals to realize the vision in the construction of buildings in a timely and cost effective manner.

We are currently seeking to fill a hands-on Site Superintendent position in the Campbellford, On area:
**Responsibilities**:(include but are not limited to)
- SITE MANAGEMENT: Oversee and document all jobsite activities; manage and monitor all work performance while providing quality leadership.
- SAFETY: Ensure that safety equipment, apparel and working conditions are strictly adhered to and inspected per policy and all governing regulatory agencies; all corrections completed in a timely manner. Ensure all on-site personnel follow all legislative and Aveiro policies and regulations.
- SCHEDULE: Determine resource and logistic requirements; assist Project Manager in planning and updating the work schedule.
- CONSTRUCTABILITY: Review construction documents constantly for constructability and design coordination prior to trade mobilization.
- BUDGETS: Assist in monitoring costs for various budget items; contribute to cost saving measures and best practices.
- QUALITY: Ensure quality meets expectations through regular QC inspections.
- Chair and manage weekly tailgate and status meetings and inspections.
- Liaise with Consultants and building department for project inspections; attend all inspections.
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Construction Manager in all aspects of the project.

**Requirements**:

- 10 or more years of GC experience in a site superintendent role.
- Solid communication skills to work well with team members; clients, site personnel and subtrades
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated Health & Safety knowledge and due diligence, familiarity with COR requirements an asset.
- Completion of a 2 year college level construction program
- Fluent in Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience in managing multiple trades in busy work environments
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to complete required daily paperwork and assessments without excuse
- Hands-on construction experience and supervision. (Supervision from site trailer only is not acceptable and need not apply)
- Valid Working at Heights, Aerial Lift, Forklift and First Aid certificates are preferred
- Construction “Pusher”

Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: $6,500.00-$7,500.00 per month
