**Job Requirements**:

- Registered or immediately eligible for registration, as a fully licensed professional with the British Columbia professional association as required by the specialty area (i.e. Forest Professionals, Institute of Agrologists, Engineers and Geoscientists). Note: immediately eligible for registration is defined as being able to immediately transfer a current membership from an applicable jurisdiction to the appropriate association within six (6) months of employment. Confirmation of registration/eligibility will be required before an offer of employment can be confirmed. If you are not currently registered, advise how you have confirmed with the applicable BC association you are immediately eligible.
- Degree in a related field (e.g., Physical Geography, Earth Science, or Environmental Science), or equivalent as accepted by the appropriate professional association.
- Experience in watershed hydrology, geomorphology, engineering hydrology, water resource management/planning, or fluvial geomorphology.
- Experience interpreting and analyzing maps and data related to resource and water management.
- Experience working cooperatively with agencies, other levels of government and the public.
- Experience coordinating or participating in complex integrated resource management plans.
- Experience producing technical reports.
- Experience supervising staff.

Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following:

- Experience with the Water Sustainability Act.
- Experience in stream, river and lake hydraulics and assessing the potential impacts to resource values from development proposals/activities and/or water withdrawals.
- Experience conducting water investigations, including watershed and hydrological assessments and water monitoring.
