**About**
CTK Bio is a research, development and manufacturing Canadian cleantech company that converts wasted by-products into biodegradable / compostable plastic pellets and other high value materials designed to break down in managed and unmanaged environments.
**Project**
CTK Bio Canada is currently working on multiple organic waste based composite R&D projects with universities across Canada to replace traditional plastic. CTK Bio Canada has a manufacturing facility for resin production and anticipates to expand industrial-scale resin plant by 2026.
**Job Summary**
A Junior Scientist is a highly skilled and experienced researcher who leads scientific projects, teams, and initiatives. They are responsible for developing and implementing new methods, techniques, and technologies in their field of expertise.
Key responsibilities include conducting complex experiments and data analysis, publishing research findings in academic journals, presenting results at conferences, and leading collaboration with other scientists both inside and outside of the organization. A Junior scientist typically has advanced education, such as a BSc/MSc, and a strong track record of publication and presentation in their field.
