**You will be accountable for**:
- Lubricating wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
- Performing engine cleanings to prevent rust formation.
- Replacing cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
- Performing tire rotations to ensure even tire wear.
- Testing tire pressure and adding air as needed.
- Inspecting customers’ vehicles for oil leaks.
- Making recommendations for additional servicing based on initial vehicle inspections.
- Preparing detailed vehicle service reports.
- Replacing vehicle wiper blades and car batteries.
- Changing motor oil as well as transmission and brake fluid as needed.
**To be successful in this role, you must have**:
- A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
- Six (6) months experience as a Lube Technician.
- The ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Good time management and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good customer service skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $18.72 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Richmond, BC V6V 2C1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Tire & Lube Technicians: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver's License and Clean Driver's Abstract (preferred)
