As a Splicer in our Wire Rope department, you will be working closely with the team, in a dynamic setting.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will be manufacturing wire rope slings and assemblies, coiling or reeling wire rope.
- This will involve measuring, cutting, marking, forming wire rope slings and assemblies.
- Selecting and assembling proper materials.
- Prepare customer orders,
- Proper use of swaging, coiling and material handling equipment
- General Housekeeping and inventory control tasks.
- Objective to grow the business, through providing good customer service.
- Cross training on chain slings, shipping & receiving functions to allow seamless coverage for vacation/illness or high volume periods.

**Requirement**:

- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. This is a physical job.
- Forklift licence considered an asset.
