We are seeking to expand our operations management team with the role of Corporate Veterinarian. This role will oversee global activities related to bovine health and reproduction to maximize results in semen production and manage biosecurity programs for our global production centres.

**What you will do**:

- Oversee herd health management program and ensure preventive and curative clinical actions are administered to animals to maintain positive health and reproductive status.
- Provide guidance and monitor resolution of more complex fertility and animal health concerns.
- Conduct internal bio security audits and represent Semex for domestic and international audits.
- Broad cross-function collaboration from product development, production, R&I, commercial and regulatory.
- Management of veterinarians and animal health technicians within Canadian semen production centres.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine with CVO license.
- 7-10 years' related experience, specifically large animals.
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner and comfort with problem solving and decision making.
- Strong computer skills and comfort with MS office products.
- Ability to travel regularly within Canada/North America and occasional international travel.
