Job Overview: As a Cook at Folk Fries, you will play a crucial role in preparing and cooking our signature dishes, including hot dogs and French fries, while ensuring that they are dressed and presented according to our standards. Your dedication to quality and attention to detail will contribute to the overall success and satisfaction of our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Food Preparation:

- Prepare and cook hot dogs and French fries according to recipes and specifications.
- Ensure that all ingredients are fresh and of high quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Dressing and Presentation:

- Dress hot dogs and French fries with toppings, sauces, and condiments as per customer orders.
- Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively and in accordance with Folk Fries' standards.
- Quality Control:

- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure food safety and quality.
- Conduct regular checks on food items to maintain freshness and taste.
- Inventory Management:

- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
- Notify management of any shortages or discrepancies in inventory.
- Cleaning and Sanitation:

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
- Follow proper food safety procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety.
- Customer Service:

- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot kitchen environment.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
- Manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment and utensils.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position requires working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with exposure to heat and noise.
- Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
