**Qualifications**:

- A graduate degree in a related discipline, or a graduate degree in progress with less than a year to completion
- More than 2 years of Research experience, demonstrated understanding of the research cycle (a combination of education and experience may be considered)
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Strong statistical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills

**Suggested Additional Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

**Nature and Scope of Work**:
**Major Job Function**:

- Writing grant and research proposals
- Enrollment and financial analysis and reporting
- Completion of student feedback surveying
- Survey software training and support
- Research and committee work as required
- Analyzing and interpreting patterns and trends
- Writing proposals and delivering presentations when required
- Conducting research, using books, articles, and other survey tools

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Internal and external reporting
- Conducting research activities, including survey administration, qualitative data collection, literature reviews, analysis and reporting
- Enrollment reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Writing and presenting research reports
- Identifying research and funding opportunities
- Program and campus report cards
- Program cost per Full Load Equivalent (FLE)
- Student Employment Survey (Annual)
- Program and college Satisfaction Survey (Annual); Graduate Outcome Survey (Bi-annual); Student Demographic Survey (Bi-annual)
- Membership on the Research Ethics Committee
- Assist programs to conduct course and instructor evaluations; train and support programs to utilize survey software
- Conducting demographic and economic research
- Participate on provincial Institutional Research committees
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Travel may be required
