**Job Summary**:
As a Facility Manager at McAsphalt's Macklin, SK Terminal, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the safe and efficient operations of a key distributor of asphalt products. Your responsibilities encompass a wide spectrum, including optimising manufacturing processes, managing product quality, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring a culture of safety and organisation.

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Champion continuous improvement initiatives, implementing work instructions, process enhancements, and cost-effective measures.
- Maintain the integrity of production equipment and plant infrastructure, emphasising safety.
- Oversee raw materials and finished product transportation, procurement, inventory management, budgeting, and quality control.
- Take an active role in McAsphalt's preventative maintenance programs.
- Manage employee performance, conduct evaluations, provide training, approve payroll and manage employee time, and implement progressive discipline where necessary.
- Foster a culture of excellence, while building and nurturing positive employee relations at the Facility.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong customer service background.
- Familiarity with hot oil heaters and steam boilers.
- Proficiency in project management, issue resolution, and team motivation.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in bulk liquid terminals.
- Solid computer skills.
- Valid 4th class steam ticket, coupled with prior high-pressure boiler experience (a significant advantage).
- Exceptional work ethic and ability to collaborate with a diverse workforce.
- Reliable transportation for timely commute.
- Capacity to thrive under pressure, demonstrating responsibility, resourcefulness, and autonomy.
- A good sense of humor is a valuable asset.
