**The **_**Alzheimer Society of Cornwall and District **_**is recruiting a full-time Alzheimer Day Program Assistant for our Adult Day Program**

Duties: Plan, implement and evaluate social, recreational and exercise activities for clients with Dementia at our Forest Park and Hawkesbury program sites.

Qualifications:

- Certificate in recreation or equivalent
- Experience working with people living with dementia
- Experience with planning and conducting recreational activities with older adult
- **Verbal proficiency in English and French is required**:

- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work within a team
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Responsabilités: Planifier, mettre en œuvre et évaluer les activités sociales et récréatives pour les clients atteints de troubles neurocognitifs dans nos sites de programme de soutien de jour à Forest Park et à Hawkesbury.

Qualifications:

- Certificat en récréologie ou équivalent

- Expérience avec la planification et la conduite d'activités récréatives avec des personnes âgées
- Capable de s'exprimer en anglais et en français est obligatoire
- Compétences interpersonnelles exceptionnelles et bonne capacité à travailler en équipe
- Possède un permis de conduire valide et accès à un véhicule.
