Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Food Service Associate to join our team. As a Food Service Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service establishment.

**Duties**:

- Requisition food and kitchen supplies
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
- Prepare food order summaries for chef
- Supervise and check assembly of trays
- Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- Establish work schedules

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in food handling or the restaurant industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cash handling purposes

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.55 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
