**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a Supervisor for our General Toxicology department located in Sherbrooke.

What you will be working on

As the department Supervisor, you will:
Ensure employee and department performance management.
Give employees feedback in a timely manner.
Collaborate with the various company divisions to optimize operations.
Guide, train, coach, support and maintain a collaborative team and a continuous improvement approach.
Ensure and promote positive and effective working relationships with the management team, human resources and key collaborators.
Regularly communicate expectations regarding quality, performance, goals, animal welfare, and health and safety.
Review and respect budgets for assigned sectors.
Manage various operational challenges.

Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services, state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support, our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth, efficient journey to market. Each year approximately 120 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
