**ROLE**
Under the supervision of the Child and Youth Program Coordinator and the Parent-Child and Youth Services Program Director, the ASW (SWAG) will plan the program and ensure all activity components are incorporated, from academic assistance, life skill development and health food choices/nutrition.
As an ASW, you must maintain effective communication of information among volunteers, mentors, tutors, teachers and other providers of services to students grade 9-10 enrolled in the SWAG program. Having the ability to establish appropriate relationships with youth, and with professionals within within a multi-disciplinary team is key.
**REPORTING RELATIONSHIP**
Reports to the Child and Youth Programs Coordinator, who reports to the PCYS Program Director, who reports to the Executive Director.
**Program-Related Activities**
- Organizes and implements the program, ensuring all components run smoothly, and liaising with school staff and other partners and presenters as required.
- Keeps updated materials and provides links to community resources and supports for students in the areas of community involvement hours, part-time jobs and special options such as co-op ed and apprenticeship learning.
- Assists with organization of additional special events, invitations or resources for SWAG students, such as workshops, speakers, and field trips, that support career development.
