**Position Overview**:
We are seeking experienced Construction Labourers to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will play a vital role in the successful completion of various projects, including water and sewer reconstructions, road building, site development and other civil construction endeavors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects while working alongside skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including site clearing, excavation, grading, and sewer and watermain work.
- Perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist equipment operators and tradespeople as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the construction site.
- Adhere to project schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Previous experience in heavy civil construction preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- $35.09 - $37.71 per hour based on experience and qualifications plus 10% vacation pay.

Pay: $35.09-$37.71 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 55 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brantford, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- water/sewer/road construction and reconstruction: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario G Driver's License (required)
