**Work Status**: Full-Time

**Location**: Toronto, On. Option to work from home/remote within Ontario with occasional mandatory onsite attendance for meeting and events.

About the Role

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Write & produce exceptionally creative on-brand promo spots for a variety of Corus brands.
- Hands-on responsibility through the entire creative process as assigned, from initial conceptualization to final delivery on air
- Work closely with internal marketing team on campaigns to drive subscriptions/downloads
- Produce audio/visual branding and promotional materials for the support of various departments including: Marketing, Programming, Promotions, Sales, Affiliates, Communication, and Interactive as required
- Attend all department and interdepartmental meetings as required
- Remain current with rating, demographic and related research to ensure creative content of on-air promotion will appeal to the target demographic
- Edit offline cuts of all video material
- Supervise online edits and post-audio sessions
- Direct voice-over talent
- Conceptualize and collaborate with graphics team on projects as assigned
- Contribute ideas and approaches for on-air stunt events, programming blocks and image campaigns
- Prepare and provide all media prior to scheduled edits
- Keep accurate and organized records of all promos and music used in production

About You

**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- A graduate at college or university level(preferred: a radio and television program)
- An original and very creative thinker
- Exceptional writing skills and visual sense
- A minimum of 2 years script writing, producing and editing audio visual materials for broadcast in an on-air promotions environment or commercial background
- Basic non-linear video editing experience is a must
- Strong problem solving and organizational skills, and an ability to meet tight deadlines
- The ability to thrive within a creative team environment
- Experience working in a client or agency-based creative environment is a plus
- Self-starter with strong organization skills
