J. Garnons Williams Ltd. is currently hiring for an After-Hours Scheduler for evenings and weekends. This position would see you scheduling sick coverage for an agency which provides group home and community inclusion support in the Nanaimo/Parksville Area. **This is a work from home opportunity. Must live local to Nanaimo BC.**

Hours typically run:

- 4:00pm weekday evenings to 8:00am weekday mornings
- Weekend coverage from 4:00pm Friday to Monday 8:00 am.
- Statutory holiday coverage will be required when they occur
- Calls should not occur between 9:00pm - 7:00am unless a rare emergency occurs
- This position is for filling sick calls from staff only, no advance scheduling.

Skills & Requirements
- communicate professionally with management and agency staff
- ability to remain professional and calm in stress situations
- solid reliability
- computer skills
- previous scheduling experience in a unionized environment is an asset
- Knowledge in Ceridian Dayforce is a strong asset

This position will be working from home/remote. However, you will need to be able to come into the office for approximately 4 hours to complete your training and as well as occasionally to pick up and drop off paperwork.

A cell phone and laptop will be provided for this position.

It is an excluded salary position. Non statutory holiday weeks $256.00 per week. ($512.00 biweekly) and weeks with a statutory holiday $296 per week.
