**Job Summary**

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position is responsible for the setup and operation of a variety of machine tools to produce precision machined parts. A good mechanical aptitude is required. Work cohesively and collaboratively with others, as well as work independently. Be flexible and adaptable to changing corporate and team needs.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Capable of working on manual Milling machines, Lathes, Drill presses and grinding equipment.
- Follow drawings when machining products.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and communicate with the supervisor.
- Assist in the improvement of efficiency and quality of machining processes and products.
- Keep the work area clean and organized. Implement and maintain 5S organization.
- Follow production schedule and prioritize daily work accordingly.
- Work/Cross Train on multiple CNC Machines.
- Understand and follow the “Kanban” type systems in current use.
- Capable of measuring to tight tolerances using a variety of measuring devices.
- Complete Dimensional Inspection reports - follow the criteria documented to complete these reports.
- Perform regular maintenance on machines.

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Secondary school diploma or GED equivalent
- Preferred work experience or post-Secondary related education in CNC Turning and/or Machining Centers.

**Physical Requirements**
- Lifting: Raising or lowering an object (up to 50lbs) from one level to another.
- Repetitive Motion: Periodic movements to complete a task.
- Walking/standing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
