Jr. Carpenter

Ice River Sustainable Solutions is looking for a Jr. Carpenter. This is a Full-Time Permanent position working for a team of 3 in the Grey Highlands area. You will be required to work 44 hours per week Monday - Friday.

Work to include assisting seasoned carpenters and learning the skilled trade of carpentry, including formwork, framing, windows, roofing and trim, siding, drywalling, flooring installation, cabinet installs. On-site training provided by skilled carpenter.

**The Jr. Carpenter Required Skills**:

- Ability to drive to main shop (will ride along to job sites)
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
- Ideally 1-2 years of carpentry and/or framing experience
- Willing and eager to learn
- Experience using power tools
