Do you have experience as a class 1 truck driver? Are you looking for contract work for reduced hours or as a retiree? If so, we want to hear from youWe are seeking skilled Shunt Truck Mover contractors to join our team, specializing in the movement of sale units across Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting trucks and trailers nationwide, ensuring they are delivered efficiently to designated locations.Hours: Up to 13 hours per day, and up to 4 days per week. Hours are expected to be steady for the next 6 to 9 months; following that period, work will be placed on rotation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Drive for sale trucks and trailers cross country
- Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle safety
- Ensure proper coupling and uncoupling of trailers
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Potential for future US-Canada border-crossing

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 1 with air brake endorsement and a clean abstract is required
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a shunt truck driver
- Ability to pass a criminal background check upon hire
- Eligible for US-Canada border crossings is an asset
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours
