Position: Investment and Operation Analyst

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct in-depth research and financial analysis using financial and industry resources.
- Collect, consolidate and interpret financial and industry data;
- Perform comprehensive financial statement analysis, create and maintain financial models;
- Generate reports including tables and graphs to interpret investment and financial data;
- Conduct due diligence on a variety of investment products, assist in preparing due diligence reports.
- Prepare investment presentations for meetings with senior management as well as internal and external clients.
- Prepare investment update review and reports to dealing representatives and investors.
- Analysis investment past performance and back testing.
- Prepare investor updates and assist in the creation of investor statements and reports.
- Assist the sales team to prepare investment presentations for marketing and sales purposes.
- Generate and evaluate new investment proposals by conducting in-depth fundamental analysis;
- Provide investment training presentation to dealing representatives and answer questions the dealing representatives may have in regard to different investment products.
- Follow overall market news and evaluate market data to assess short and long-term trends;
- Assist with writing research notes and reports as well as other ad hoc duties as assigned;
- Liaise with sales representatives and other areas of the company and address their enquiries.
- Maintain operational procedures and able to provide training for these procedures
- Communications with other teams especially the sales team. Be the first point of reference for inquires from the sales team and respond in a timely and accurate manner.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or other quantitative disciplines.
- 1 - 2 years of related experiences in similar financial analytical or operational roles.
- Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles is a must.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) is a must, with a particular emphasis on Excel, word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must.
- CFA Level I and above is an asset
- Working towards other accounting or finance related designation is an asset
- Sound financial modelling skills and knowledges of different financial modelling techniques such as discounted cash flow model.
- Committed to ethical and professional standards regarding confidentiality of client information.
- Should be highly motivated, independent but able to work within a team environment
- Ability to write and speak Chinese is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
