**Position Overview**:
As a Caregiver at ElderSafe Senior Care, you will provide vital, non-medical assistance to individuals who require help with daily living activities. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with clients, providing care in a comfortable and familiar home setting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Personal Care**: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- **Companionship**: Provide social interaction and engage in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- **Mobility Assistance**: Help clients move around their home, including transferring, positioning, and walking.
- **Light Housekeeping**: Perform light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- **Medication Reminders**: Assist/Ensure clients take medications on time and as prescribed.
- **Client Monitoring**: Observe and report any changes in a client’s health or behavior to the supervising nurse or family members.
- **Transportation**: Accompany clients to appointments, social activities, or errands if required.
- **Deep Housekeeping**: Provide an in-depth cleaning for clients who want more detailed housekeeping

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (From Canada or a different country)
- Certification as a Health Care Aide (HCA) or completion of an approved Health Care Aide program (preferred but not required)
- Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with chronic illnesses or disabilities (At least 3months experience)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Compassionate, Empathetic, and a patient demeanor
- Have a caring attitude with a commitment to client-centered care.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately, work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass background checks (Vulnerable Sector Check)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain but not mandatory)
- Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods
