- Making a difference every day
- Being accountable for the daily routines and curriculum expectations of the classroom, ensuring that the classroom is operating in accordance with Coppens Academy and provincial licensing standards.
- Being responsible for ensuring an educational, caring and safe environment for the children and parents.
- Sparking imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day.
- Promoting the positive image of the company and play a major role in making the company a provider of choice in educational programming for the communities that we service.
- Working alongside and reporting to the Centre Supervisor
- Create and oversee the theme-based weekly curriculum including Math, Science, Language, and Art Lessons
- Help maintain attendance, children records, and follow established budgets.

**Qualifications**:
In order to be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements, including:

- ECE post-secondary education, child development, or a related field plus 2 years of teaching experience in childcare setting.
- Must have valid CPIC and First Aid/CPR
- A desire to positively impact the lives of children and families.
- The ability to demonstrate an understanding of all current provincial policies and regulations.
- Possess critical thinking and problem-solving skill
- Experience creating educational lesson plans.

**Additional Requirements**: Valid CPR & First Aid, Up-to-date immunizations
